MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia will next month hold its biggest war games since the fall of the Soviet Union, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday, a massive military exercise that will also involve the Chinese and Mongolian armies.

The exercise, called Vostok-2018 (East-2018), will take place in central and eastern Russian military districts and involve almost 300,000 troops, more than 1,000 military aircraft, two of Russia’s naval fleets, and all of its airborne units, Shoigu said in a statement.   Continue reading “Russia to hold its biggest war games since fall of Soviet Union”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Canada’s top trade negotiator joins her Mexican and U.S. counterparts in Washington on Tuesday in a bid to remain part of a revamped trilateral North American trade pact, as U.S. officials expressed optimism a deal could be reached this week.

Former federal prosecutor Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, issued a press release earlier in August on behalf of his client, Cliven Bundy, vowing to fight a Department of Justice appeal of a judge’s dismissal of the case against Bundy for his role in the spring 2014 protest against federal land tyranny in Nevada.

In January, U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro dismissed conspiracy charges against Bundy, his two sons, and fellow protestor Ryan Payne after finding prosecutors violated federal law and unjustly failed to share with the court evidence favorable to the defendants. KAUBER, West Bank (Reuters) – The Israeli military on Tuesday demolished the family home of a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank who killed an Israeli in a Jewish settlement a month ago and was shot dead in the attack.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Kushner family real estate company was fined $210,000 by New York City regulators on Monday following an Associated Press investigation earlier this year that showed it routinely filed false documents with the city claiming it had no rent-regulated tenants in its buildings when, in fact, it had hundreds.

Just over five months ago, authorities say officer Paul Pappas clocked in for the evening shift, climbed in his unmarked patrol car and drove to New Brunswick to slash his ex-girlfriend’s car tire.

A federal judge told a Virginia sheriff’s deputy that he had no right to pull over a car because a passenger flipped him off. On Friday, proceedings advanced in the lawsuit against Patrick County Lieutenant Rob Coleman. US District Judge Jackson L. Kiser had found sufficient evidence to bring the matter to trial.

Brian H. Clark, the irreverent passenger, has a history of annoying authority. In 2016, Judge Martin F. Clark Jr (no relation) banned Brian Clark from entering the county courthouse clerk’s office without a lawyer. A 9-year-old boy has committed suicide after being bullied for his sexuality, according to a Denver mom.

Jamel Myles just started fourth grade last Monday and was eager to open up to his peers after coming out as gay to his mom over the summer. “And he looked so scared when he told me. He was like, ‘Mom I’m gay,’” Leia Pierce told KDVR-TV. “And I thought he was playing, so I looked back because I was driving, and he was all curled up, so scared. For some time I have been telling my readers that we can expect a worldwide Depression far worse than 1933 because we have more Unpayable Debts to cancel than at any time in history. We do not have a non-interest bearing currency Like President Lincoln’s Greenbacks or the British Bradford pound of WW I.

We compound our errors by allowing banks to create checking account money that enables them to charge us interest on money they create out of nothing. This generates enormous quantities of Unpayable Debts. This in turn sets us up for another Great Depression.
