Police were also vague about the sign, saying only that it related to “social justice.” Bishop said two others who witnessed the shooting told him that it said, “Tax the one percent,” and that he seemed to raise it just before pulling the trigger.

Citing “lessons learned from online engagement with ‘Bernie Bros,’” a pro-Hillary Clinton Super PAC is pledging to spend $1 million to “push back against” users on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and Instagram.

Correct the Record’s “Barrier Breakers” project boasts in a press release that it has already “addressed more than 5,000 people that have personally attacked Hillary Clinton on Twitter.” The PAC released this on Thursday.

In the October General Election, nearly 4 out of 5 residents in Gustavus, Alaska voted against (196 to 54) the installation of law enforcement (or VPSO) in their quiet little town. Gustavus is one of the largest, if not the largest community in Alaska to police itself.

Most residents in this remote town are proud of their ability to live together peaceably without the need of police officers to keep order. Based off the voting outcome we assume the majority of the town feels they don’t need to change or fix that which isn’t broken.   Continue reading “Gustavus Alaska “Just Says No” To Law Enforcement”

ON THE PIKE/ADAMS COUNTY LINE — Tears well in Leonard Manley’s eyes with nearly every mention of his slain daughter and her three murdered children.

But they never spill onto his cheek.

Manley, a man who doesn’t have much but his family, is too proud for that.   Continue reading “‘Ain’t got no revenge in our hearts,’ Pike Co. family says”

With the Easter Rising of 1916, the world was introduced to the eulogy of Pax Britannica. Much like the coercion used by the Roman Empire, the British Crown were masters at colonial repression and exploitation of royal holdings. The long strained history between the Emerald Isle and the City of London dates back many centuries. From the punitive exploits of Oliver Cromwell to the use of the Auxiliary Division of the Royal Irish Constabulary (ADRIC), the shrift shed blood on both sides. Independence comes at a high price when the imperium masters dig in to keep their rule in place.   Continue reading “The 1916 Irish Uprising against British Imperialism”

Formed in 1947, the Tavistock Institute is an independent not-for-profit organization which seeks to combine research in the social sciences with professional practice. Problems of institution-building and organizational design and change are being tackled in all sectors – government, industry and commerce, health and welfare, education, etc. – nationally and internationally, and clients range from multinationals to small community groups. A growth area has been the use of a developmental approach to evaluation of new and experimental programs, particularly in health, education and community development. This has also produced new training events alongside the regular program of group relations conferences. The Institute owns and edits the monthly journal Human Relations (published by Plenum Press) which is now in its 48th year, and has recently launched (in conjunction with Sage Publications) a new journal Evaluation.   Continue reading “Tavistock Institute of Human Relations: The Best Kept Secret in America”

Tensions are rapidly escalating between the US and Russia following last week two fly-bys when first a Russian Su-24 “buzzed” the US missile destroyer USS Donald Cook in the Baltic Sea, and just days later flew within 50 feet of a US recon plane also flying over the Baltic Sea, which some interpreted as a Russian warning to Poland. The U.S. quickly responded and complained vocally to Russia (even if Obama did not mention the incident during his phone call with Putin immediately following the incident).   Continue reading “For The First Time US Deploys Two F-22 Raptors Close To Russia To “Deter Aggression””

Baby chicks…they’re adorable, fluffy, and incredibly delicate!  Despite their fragility, they’re actually pretty simple to raise. If you have some outdoor space and live in an area where it’s allowed, fresh eggs and meat (if you’re interested in that) can easily be yours!

This week’s self-reliance strategies are all about getting started with baby chicks.   Continue reading “Everything You Need to Know About Raising Baby Chicks on a Budget”

Natural News – by Mike Adams

For those who wonder why, as the editor of Natural News, I carry a loaded weapon with me at all times, consider how often whistleblowers who threaten to expose government conspiracy crimes end up dead. In just the last few days, a water treatment plant foreman who could have testified against the corrupt government of Michigan was found dead in his home. On the exact same day, Sasha Avonna Bell, who spearheaded a lawsuit against the government over the lead poisoning of the Flint water supply, was found murdered.

“She was identified Thursday, the same day the death of a Flint Water Treatment Plant foreman who was wanted for questioning in connection with the crisis was announced,” reports the Daily Mail.   Continue reading “And now the cover-up murders begin in Flint, Michigan: Water treatment plant foreman found dead… young mom murdered in her home after filing lawsuit against Michigan government”

Ammon Bundy’s lawyers intend to argue that the federal government doesn’t have the authority to prosecute protesters who took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, claiming that the federal government lacks control of the land.

The U.S. Constitution granted “very limited powers” to the federal government, and that once Oregon became a state, the federal government lost a right to own land inside the state’s borders, his attorney Lissa Casey wrote in a court motion filed late Friday.   Continue reading “Ammon Bundy to challenge authority of feds to prosecute Oregon standoff defendants”

America loves kids, but Uncle Sam has a favorite: children of refugees.

Among recipients of food stamps, welfare cash and Social Security payments, refugee children receive more in taxpayer-funded aid than children of citizens, according to a new report on federal spending from the pro-immigration Migration Policy Institute.   Continue reading “Report: Children of refugees get more federal benefits than poor U.S. kids”

A government official warned employees deploying for the influx of illegal immigrant minors about health and safety risks because the new arrivals would have tuberculosis and some were young adults—not children—like the Obama administration proclaimed, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. “We might as well plan on many of the kids having TB,” states a June 26, 2014 guidance e-mail from a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) environmental health scientist, Alaric C. Denton, as the agency prepared to handle the crisis. “Most of these kids are not immunized, so we need to make sure all our staff are immunized.” Denton, who is stationed at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, predicts in the directive that the agency will be overwhelmed pretty quickly and that screening requirements will be hard to keep up with.   Continue reading “CDC Official Warned Staff of Health, Safety Risks During Influx of Illegal Alien Minors: “Plan on Many of the Kids Having TB,” “Be Wary of Personal Safety.””

While it may be one of the most abundant natural resources on the planet, clean water is getting harder and harder to come by these days.

Australia Greens MP Jeremy Buckingham says fracking should be banned as a “global threat” to our water supply, and to prove his point, he literally took a lighter and set a river contaminated by fracking on fire.   Continue reading ““People Should Be Terrified”: Watch Aussie MP Set A River On Fire To Show Fracking Danger”

It could easily be said 2016 has been the year so-called conspiracy theorists were vindicated — and we aren’t yet five months in.

Before explaining why that is the case, make no mistake — the term conspiracy theorist originated with the CIA as an effort to discredit viable theories from credible people who chanced upon the truth.   Continue reading “8 Revelations From 2016 That Completely Vindicate “Conspiracy Theorists””

According to Traveller 24, Kuwait is going to become the first nation in the world to conduct total mandatory DNA tagging, which applies both to their own population and tourists.

The legislation that will make DNA tagging mandatory will come in effect later this year. After that each and every person entering the country will undergo a mandatory DNA sampling. This will be done by taking samples of saliva or blood (by person’s choice). Refusing to undergo such procedure will cause “consequences” that have yet to be  specified.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Last summer, 10 officers shot at a man fleeing from them in an SUV after the officers thought the suspect had run into their lieutenant, who was actually knocked down by a falling fence, according to police video and reports released Friday.

There hasn’t been another Albuquerque police shooting in recent memory in which that many officers fired their weapons, said Celina Espinoza, a police spokeswoman. The department is implementing reforms under a consent decree with the Department of Justice that aims to curb the number of police shootings, including shooting at moving vehicles.   Continue reading “APD releases video of 10 officers shooting at suspect in SUV”

San Francisco – A federal judge has unsealed her ruling that National Security Letter (NSL) provisions in federal law—as amended by the USA FREEDOM Act—don’t violate the Constitution. The ruling allows the FBI to continue to issue the letters with accompanying gag orders that silence anyone from disclosing they have received an NSL, often for years. The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) represents two service providers in challenging the NSL statutes, who will appeal this decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.   Continue reading “Ruling Unsealed: National Security Letters Upheld As Constitutional”
