WEB Notes: Confirming? The International Community is only now sending in a group to try and confirm the “attack”. Listen to the US President, “It’s too bad that the world puts us in a position like that.” Put in a position like that? Look folks, the nation of Syria is sovereign, it is not the 51st state and we are trying to protect our citizens. Your mind is being toyed with. Use your head…
Further, how many times has the US killed civilians in bombing missions in Syria now? Plenty of times, more than I am going to count.

Take a look at the news any day of the week and you’ll see stories of people affected by disasters: from entire communities dealing with the aftermath of tornadoes and large-scale flooding to families rebuilding after house fires and ruptured pipes caused by freezing weather. They all face the daunting prospect of starting over.
No matter what the cause, each of these people will deal not only with physical loss but with emotional trauma and financial impacts. Even the most prepared among us may someday deal with a catastrophe at the community or personal level that can’t be stopped, and we’ll have to decide whether to rebuild in place or start over elsewhere. The White House has declined to comment on why they think they have the legal authority to strike Syria without congressional approval. This comes as the Trump administration puts “all options on the table” and tries to decide how much damage to inflict on the war-torn nation.
The president has the authority to deploy military force in the interest of self-defense, but outside that rationale, the president’s legal authority becomes murkier. And striking Syria is not in the interest of self-defense, but a provocative escalation of war. Critics simply want president Donald Trump to declare why he thinks it’s necessary to inflame an issue over what’s amounting to a false flag chemical attack.

President Donald Trump said in a proclamation on Thursday that his fellow Americans have “a moral obligation to combat anti-Semitism, confront hate and prevent genocide.” Noting Yom Hashoah, Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, Trump wrote:
“Although spearheaded by one individual, this undertaking could not have happened without the participation of many others who recruited, persuaded and coerced in their efforts to incite the worst of human nature and carry out the ugliest of depravity. The abject brutality of the Nazi regime, coupled with the failure of Western leaders to confront the Nazis early on, created an environment that encouraged and enflamed anti-Semitic sentiment and drove people to engage in depraved, dehumanizing conduct.” Continue reading “Trump says Americans have ‘moral obligation’ to address anti-Semitism”
