Washington (CNN)The White House was briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after an aircraft entered restricted airspace in the Washington area.
The event caused senior national security officials across the agencies to convene to coordinate and monitor the situation, according to a US defense official, and aircraft have been deployed to monitor the situation, US Northern Command tweeted. An Indiana hospital says that more than 1,000 patients were exposed to HIV, hepatitis, and other blood-borne infectious diseases after surgical tools were improperly sanitized. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Closing a case involving a non-fatal U.S. Marshals shooting and the question of fair compensation for post-traumatic stress, federal Judge Jon McCalla ordered an $81,456 payment to 24-year-old Jahmazeo Richardson of Memphis, in a ruling issued Wednesday.
The figure is more than three times the $25,000 amount that Assistant U.S. Attorney David Brackstone, the lawyer representing the U.S. Marshals Service, asked the judge to consider as the maximum fair compensation. The federal Bureau of Land Management is accepting public input for two weeks on a sale of public-land leases to the oil and gas industry for fossil fuel development in southeast New Mexico.

The Fifth Amendment prevents compelled production of passwords, the top court in Pennsylvania has ruled. (h/t ACLU) It joins a handful of other state courts finding passwords to be testimonial, including Indiana, Illinois, and Florida. Unfortunately, there’s no SCOTUS opinion uniting the states, so Fifth Amendment coverage remains spotty. Music industry icons in Miami, Florida, announced the organization of an unprecedented charity concert against communism scheduled for April 11, 2020 – in the heat of a presidential election in which several Democrat candidates have openly embraced socialist ideas.
The “Concert Against Communism” is the brainchild of legendary Miami producer Frankie Marcos and will be co-sponsored by the Cuban Democratic Directorate, a non-profit organization that advocates for human rights on the island. Mahopac, New York –-(Ammoland.com)- Whiskey_warrior_556 is the Instagram name of Afghanistan combat vet, Alex Booth. On Saturday afternoon, a Carmel, NY police officer showed up at his doorstep to discuss what they say was a domestic incident that took place with his wife earlier in the day. He disputed this claim.
According to Alex Booth, a former friend informed law enforcement that Booth had a New York state illegal standard capacity 30-round magazine and that Booth suffered from PTSD from his combat tours in Afghanistan. The World Jewish Congress (WJC), which calls itself “The Representative Body of over 100 Jewish Communities Worldwide,” held its annual gala at the Pierre hotel in New York City on Nov. 6.
It bestowed its annual Theodor Herzl Award (named after Israel’s founding father) on former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley for her work on behalf of Israel. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published shocking results which found that cells used in the manufacturing of numerous childhood vaccines are often contaminated with serious viruses including cancer.
The FDA study looked at vaccines that are made from living cells, or replicated cell substrates that some manufacturers are investigating to create. Lake Charles, LA — In May of 2017, then-Lake Charles Police Officer Robert Hammac initiated a traffic stop that would end with him savagely beating an unarmed and surrendering man in a fit of rage. After the incident Hammac was allowed to resign and thought he got away with it. However, earlier this year, he was finally indicted. He pleaded guilty to the charges in August and this month, he was sentenced to a year-and-a-half in prison.
