Two Americans battling Ebola are being flown from Liberia to Atlanta in specially outfitted planes – bringing the incurable disease to U.S. shores for the first time, it has been reported.

Dr Kent Brantly and hygienist Nancy Writebol, both of whom are said to be in ‘grave condition’, will be brought back to the U.S. one by one, sources told ABC News.

Emory University in Atlanta has confirmed that they will be taking one of the patients ‘in the next several days’ after they arrive in the U.S. in the Gulfstream jet. It is not clear which of the two patients they will be housing or where the second patient will go.

Sanctuary Cities: What are they?

Despite a 1996 federal law [the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act ( IIRIRA )] that requires local governments to cooperate with Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), many large urban cities (and some small) have adopted so-called “sanctuary” policies.  Generally, sanctuary policies instruct city employees not to notify the federal government of the presence of illegal aliens living in their communities. HOUSTON, Texas–A 2014 government report by the Congressional Research Service obtained by Breitbart Texas shows that President Obama’s Department of Justice has set forth “policy guidelines” for judges hearing immigration cases of unaccompanied alien children (UAC). A federal court has ruled that the Obama Department of Justice must turn over to the non-profit watchdog group Judicial Watch an index of materials related to the “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal that were withheld by the White House under executive privilege claims.

President Obama still plans to convene a three-day summit in Washington for leaders of African countries even though the continent is experiencing an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus, a White House spokesman said Wednesday.

Palladino, president of the NYPD Detectives’ Endowment Association.

Muslim community leaders in the UK are calling banking giant HSBC ‘Islamaphobic’ after they received letters telling them that their banking services will be terminated in September.

Three organizations—The Cordoba Foundation, the Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT), and the Finsbury Park Mosque—have all received nearly identical letters (pdf) from the bank, and two of them believe the cause may be their support of Palestine.

The Islamist terror group ISIS’s big advantage is that it doesn’t fight conventionally. It’s held off the regular army of Bashar al-Assad and routed thousands of Iraqi troops. But now a group has emerged that turns ISIS’s tactics back against them.

The group is called White Shroud. There’s very little known about the group, but Syrian citizen journalism website Tahrir Souri reported on the group’s existence on July 24. In a contentious meeting at City Hall, the Rev. Al Sharpton challenged Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner William J. Bratton Thursday to make more sweeping policy changes at the NYPD to answer recent complaints of excessive force.

Kimani Gray’s family members say they are disgusted and disappointed by the decision.
