Over the last couple weeks I have been glued to the true story “The Lone Survivor,” where four of America’s finest Navy SEALs of “Operation Red Wings” were sent to do some reconnaissance concerning terrorists in Afghanistan.

Right from the start it seemed very clear that the special op was cursed. All the way from herdsman coming directly into their particular position where they were discovered (they could not terminate the compromise of being discovered because of Rules of Engagement), to being surrounded by 200 Taliban while they were waiting and expecting to be extracted but could not (their radio signal was too weak to reach headquarters). Then there was the downing of two Chinook helicopters (two apache helicopters would have given them cover, but they were grounded). All circumstances around this operation seem very strange both from within and from without. Tragically, three of the four SEALs were killed. California’s drought conditions have worsened over the past week with the percentage of the state suffering from the highest category increasing, the National Weather Service said Thursday.

“Exceptional” drought conditions have spread in Central California since a week ago, weather officials said. Ukraine’s new president declared a one-week cease-fire Friday in the fight to put down a pro-Russia rebellion, starting a process the West hopes will pressure Moscow to rein in separatists it has been accused of supplying with weaponry.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The leader of the U.S. House of Representatives urged President Barack Obama on Friday to send troops to the Mexican border to help deal with the surge of unaccompanied minors from Central America, calling it a “national security and humanitarian crisis.”

If the Militia deploys to the border they could end up in trouble and need our help. If the fed decides to try to stop them from patrolling our border, they could get in a tough situation very quickly that would require us to step up to the plate and help out. We are all Militia. We need to support the guys who are going down there in the beginning. This thing could drag out for a long time.

We need to have our bags packed and be able to deploy on a moment’s notice or at least within 24 hours if it goes south down there. If you are serious about doing your duty, start getting your gear packed for a long term deployment and stay alert to the situation down there. If we are needed, we need to be able to muster and deploy a force of armed and prepared American Nationals to do our jobs. Our nation is in peril by those from within trying to destroy what is left of our once great nation. Who is to blame? We all are because we went along with the criminals in government in one form or another. Now is not the time to worry about losing your pension funds because they are gone. The politicians are raiding the government workers and military pension funds to fund the debt or to prop up the failing banks on Wall Street. There is nothing left to lose any more and more to gain if we all become bold based on our moral convictions to do what is right. To accomplish the restoration of our republic requires risking everything. There is no easier or softer way to do this. We have to grab the bull by the horns.

As many as 84 scientists working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta may have been exposed to the anthrax bacteria after failing to follow safety procedures, the US government said.

According to information released by the CDC earlier on Thursday and first reported by Reuters, the possible exposure to live anthrax began within a high-level bio-security lab. Today, those who were uprooted and their descendants number more than 5 million people, scattered across the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. The Palestinian refugee problem is one of the most entrenched in the world, with a solution linked to an elusive Israeli-Palestinian peace deal. About one-third of the refugees still live in camps, or tent cities that have been transformed into crowded urban slums. WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Stephanie Kwolek, a pioneering female chemist at DuPont who invented the exceedingly tough fibers widely used in Kevlar body armor, has died, colleagues said Friday. She was 90.

BEIRUT (AP) — For the first time since World War II, the number of people forced from their homes worldwide has surged past 50 million, the United Nations refugee agency said Friday.

Syrians fleeing the devastating civil war and a fast-growing web of other world crises accounted for the spike in the displaced, the UNHCR said in its annual Global Trends Report. NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The weeklong odyssey of a registered sex offender traveling with a missing teenage girl from Florida ended after a sighting by a Louisiana truck stop cashier triggered a lengthy police chase, authorities say.

Officers pursued a pickup truck driven by Steven Myers, 41, for miles, throwing down spike strips that blew out most of the vehicle’s tires, law enforcement agents said.
