ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The lawyer for a local driver who was ticketed for speeding in a small town north of Hannibal, Missouri, says the city tried to force his client to pay an extra $100 fee for a speeding ticket.

Janine Hofer of St. Louis County was ticketed in Palmyra for going 72 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone along highway 61. She does not dispute the ticket. WASHINGTON (ABC7) — This fall, National Mall visitors might be surprised to find a giant sculpture of a naked woman near the Washington Monument. If the organizers’ permit is approved, the sculpture would become a temporary fixture, allowed to stand there for four months.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Mysterious metal towers are popping up at local tunnels, and soon they’ll start appearing at bridges, too.

But even people on the MTA board in charge of the towers can’t say why they’re being used or what’s in them, CBS2’s Dave Carlin reports.

There’s a bug in the latest version of Internet Explorer that leaks the addresses, search terms, or any other text typed into the address bar.

The bug allows any currently visited website to view any text entered into the address bar as soon as the user hits enter. The technique can expose sensitive information a user didn’t intend to be viewed by remote websites, including the Web address the user is about to visit. The hack can also expose search queries, since IE allows them to be typed into the address bar and then retrieved from Bing or other search services.
