Freedom Outpost – by FJ Rocca

The term “liberal” came from the Enlightenment and originally applied to those who believed in and defended the rights of individuals over the power of tyranny. There was no such thing as the rights of collectives or groups. The people, meant each and every individual citizen. Thus, the definitive form of authentic liberal government is the republic, wherein rights of individuals are codified and protected by constitutions that protect those rights form abrogation by a government that is supposed to serve them. A pure democracy is not the tool of individual rights, but the mechanism by which said rights are taken by a majority who will something.    Continue reading “A Civics Lesson that Desperately Needs to be Taught in Elementary School Again”

Two fast-moving fires have scorched more than 100,000 acres in Northern California, forcing thousands to flee their homes and injuring firefighters struggling to contain the flames.

California Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency Sunday in Lake and Napa counties after the Valley Fire, which started Saturday afternoon northwest of Sacramento, continued to grow. That fire had burned at least 40,000 acres – about 63 square miles – as of Sunday, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE).   Continue reading “State of emergency declared in Northern California blaze; thousands flee”

Stop. Take a deep breath…Okay, are you sitting down? What you are about to read is real — far too real. For the sake of humanity, I would love to tell you that the following paragraphs were constructed as satire meant to mock a mainstream mouthpiece who regurgitates a corporate agenda for a living. Sadly, this story isn’t satire.   Continue reading “Fox News Anchor Sues For “Emotional Damage” Over Toy She Thinks Looks Like Her”

If she were anything other than a member of the LGBT community, Jennifer Cramblett would be branded as a racist. But as she is a lesbian, the Washington Post matter-of-factly writes that Cramblett, who is white, sued Midwest Sperm Bank in 2014 for artificially inseminating her with sperm from the wrong donor, which resulted in her giving birth to a mixed-race daughter. The donor, as she discovered only after her daughter was born in 2011, was a black man. And she fears that her little girl, Payton, now 3, will grow up feeling like an “outcast.”   Continue reading “White lesbian loses suit against sperm bank that accidentally injected her with black man’s genetic material”

FOX LAKE, Ill. (AP) — New details are emerging more than week after the shooting death of a northern Illinois police officer sparked a manhunt for three suspects and a national outpouring of grief.

An official said Friday the officer had been shot twice. Investigators — who have yet to identify any suspects — lashed out Thursday at a county coroner, saying he jeopardized their investigation by publicly discussing details of the officer’s wounds as he announced that he could not yet rule the death a homicide, suicide or accident.   Continue reading “New details in investigation of death of Illinois officer”

Poorer nations suffering from extreme weather disasters, so much so that their citizens are seeking refuge in safer terrains outside their borders, want rich nations like the United States to pay for reparations and to relocate populations.

Preparatory talks ahead of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change to be held in Paris in December has representatives from developing nations asking for more than an already agreed upon $100 billion per year for climate change mitigation measures. They want additional compensation for weather-related disasters as well as a “displacement coordination facility” for refugees. And they want all this to be legally binding as part of the larger anticipated Paris accord.   Continue reading “Poor nations want U.S. to pay reparations for extreme weather”

With the mainstream media’s newest “War on Cops” slogan you would think there was rise in police killings across the country. According to a Rasmussen poll taken last week 58% of respondents believe there is actually a war on cops. But according to Officer Down Memorial Page quite the opposite is true. Police in the line of duty deaths are down %6 and gun related deaths while on duty are down 27% so far for the year 2015. While this year is not over yet, it looks as if this “war on cops” has been on a decade long decline. In fact gun related deaths have been on the decline for each decade since the 70s. The 1970’s was the last increase in police gun related deaths since the 1930’s increase.   Continue reading “The “War on Cops” Myth”

For many Americans, a coup in which the military seizes control of the federal government is starting to seem like a refreshing alternative to the existing administration, according to a new poll.

Conducted by YouGov, a new survey has found that 29 percent of Americans could imagine a scenario where they would support a military takeover in the United States. A total of 41 percent could not imagine supporting such an event. And so while the coup-supporters are still decidedly in the minority, the fact that the option polls so highly is remarkable. This translates to 70 million Americans who are potentially ready to support a coup.   Continue reading “Nearly 1/3 Of Americans Could Imagine Supporting a Military Overthrow of Federal Government”

There’s been a little rift in the Patriot movement; a “tremor in the force” if you’ll allow, and it seems to have worried a few people.

Please let me assure you that you have nothing to worry about, and if you’ll give me a few minutes of your time, I’ll explain why it’s actually the best thing that could have happened, and why we’ll be lucky to see more of it.

First of all, we never lose any people, and we’re all here because we “know too much”. We only keep growing, because we’ve all been brought here by knowing that war is inevitable, and as more people steer themselves around the learning curve, they’ll eventually join our ranks too.   Continue reading “Division”

The Greek Coast Guard and customs intercepted an aid container for “refugees” (who are almost all male and of fighting age) that was filled with weapons and ammunition.

It appears that this was only reported on by local Greek news and has not been covered anywhere else. Hmm, I wonder why.

As the container, loaded on the freighter ship Haddad 1, a Bolivian-registered vessel, arrived in Heraklion, Crete, one of Greece’s largest island, a very popular resort island for sunbathing tourists, and currently temporary home to numerous refugees and migrants, customs inspected the cargo.   Continue reading “Arms shipment hidden among aid to refugees”
